At 7:30 p.m. before the dance, Orin will teach a the first
lesson of a two-week series on musical rhythm. This week we
will focus on rhythm as it relates to East Coast swing.
The class is open to both complete beginners and to people
with swing experience but want to learn more about how to
dance with the beat.

Next week, the series will continue, looking at Charleston.

attend this class only if you are comfortable with the Lindy
Hop swing-out basic step.

Next week, Orin will begin a two-week beginner series on
musical rhythm. This series is not strictly a dance class
or a swing dance class, but a general overview of how to
hear and move to rhythm in music, applicable to all kinds of
dance.
