Is anybody available to attend the ASA General Body Meeting
for all student group leaders that same evening (November 1,
7:30 p.m., room 34-101)?

Would anyone like to teach a lesson in the coming weeks?

Alana, Nelson, and I are going to teach a Lindy Hop class to
high school students as part of ESP's "Splash!" program on
November 18-19. We are looking for some more co-teachers in
anticipation of a very large class. If you would like to
teach with us, let me know.

Registration 15 minutes before each class.

* 12:30-2:30 Lindy Hop Fundamentals
(two hours, all levels) Refine your swingout by incorporating these
basic moves and techniques that will help any level of dancer extend
their connection and perfect their leading/following. Suitable
for all levels.

* 3:00-4:00 Marc-Andre and Bronwyn's Special Blend
(intermediate level) Some of our favorite moves that will spice up
your lindy. Some lindy experience necessary.

* 4:15-5:15 Charleston! Charleston!
(intermediate level) Don't know what to do beyond your side-byside
charleston? Learn some new kicks and sweeps to put a bounce
in your step. Knowledge of basic charleston step necessary.

Pay once, take as many classes as you want.
$12 general admission, $8 full-time students, $5 MIT students.

the second lesson of their Balboa class series.

*Coming Saturday, October 28, a day-long swing dance
workshop by Marc-Andre and Bronwyn. The workshop will run
from approximately 10am to 5pm in Lobdell Cafeteria.
Registration will be at the door and around $10. There will
be four classes: two Lindy Hop fundamentals classes
accessible to everyone and an intermediate "Marc-Andre and
Bronwyn's Special Blend" and Charleston class. (We haven't
completely set the details of of the times and price, yet.)
