Subject: Did you know Larry Stelmack?
Hi, I'm wondering if you can help me. My brother, Larry Stelmack, was an MIT graduate, and was very active in swing dancing in the Boston area. He passed away a few days ago, and my family is trying to notify his friends and acquaintances in the Boston area. We saw a flyer for the MIT Lindy Hop Society in his things - - can you please let me know if he was involved with your organization, and if you know of anyone we should contact? We're having a memorial gathering on Friday and would like to let people know by tomorrow (Wednesday) if possible. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Who is Amy and Tiger Moan?
Amy Kucharik, a talented singer/songwriter from Somerville
and familiar face around the Boston dance scene, is a
dancer's dream musician. On her ukulele, she has immense
musical range and her influences range from ragtime blues,
country, and folk, to reggae, funk and infectious, danceable
swing. Her band, Tiger Moand, will have you on your feet in
no time. The songs are catchy and sexy, and we invite you to
listen closely to Amy's witty (sometimes dark-humored)
lyrics.
Check out Amy's latest albums at http://amykucharik.com.
Why "Bread and Bones"?
It's the title of a brilliant Amy Kucharik song off her EP,
"Dance Crush Blues." Take a listen and you'll know why we
chose it for our theme.
Tell me more about Fusion dancing!
Fusion is partner dancing that freely combines multiple
dance aesthetics and musical genres. It means time to bust
out those Tango, Ballroom, Salsa, Swing, Blues, etc. moves.
Partner connection and musicality are key. Want to learn
more? Sara and Ken will teach a complimentary lesson at 7:30
p.m.!
What if I am not a dancer?
No problem! This event is open to everyone (dancer and
non-dancers alike)! We will have part of the room set up
with chairs so you can enjoy the live music.
Admission
* MIT Students: $3
* MIT Community: $5
* Other students with valid ID: $5
* General public: $10
All tickets are at the door; no advance purchase. Admission
