Charleston lesson. This lesson is suitable both for
beginners and people who already know Charleston.

Intercollegiate Swing Battle in Colorado. She says:

TO ALL STUDENT DANCERS AND CHOREOGRAPHERS:

Hello. My name is Heather and I just moved here from Colorado. I
have been dancing there for over 4 years, and I, of course, am
obsessed. In addition to social dancing, teaching, and djing in
Colorado, I also started a competition 3 years ago with a friend of
mine called the Intercollegiate Swing Battle. This year will be out
4th year of the competition. The competition is between college level
performance troupes who put together original choreography's
specifically for this competition each year. Last year was our first
year having out of state competitors. We had 8 performances, 6
competitors, 5 competing schools, 2 states, and lots of fun last year!
The weekend of the competition also usually includes some other Lindy
bombs and social dances. the competition is held in the spring each
year - there is no date set yet this year, but it is usually in early
April. I would love to get a competition troupe from local schools
from around here together to travel to the competition this year. So
this is a call for choreographers and dancers who would like to work
together this year and put together a competition piece! Anyone
interested should contact me for more information at

teach simple yet cool 6-count swing steps that will be
accessible to those with no experience, as well as fun for
those with swing and/ or lindy experience.

On Friday, September 8 from 9pm to 1am, Ashdown dormitory
will host "DANCE FUSION", a free big dance party with 3
dance floors: swing, salsa, etc. It goes from 9PM to 1AM.
There will be free food. Ashdown is at the corner of
Massachusetts Ave. and Memorial Dr.
